Taft, how are you?
S:
Very good. I saw that you were here yesterday. I read the papers.
K:
God, I tell you it's certainly a great anonymous life that I'm leading.
S:
I don't think there's anything wrong with it as long as it helps you
have fun.
K:
(Laughs.)
S:
I ran into Iselin and the Leon Hesneck crowd who said you were
with them.
K:
Did you see them last night?
S:
We were to Trader Vic's and the whole gang was there. I see you
were with Nancy taking it easy and having an early evening.
K:
That's right.
S:
I figured that.
K:
Listen, I know you're still not sure when you're leaving. We're
coming down Thursday morning. I have that board meeting there
at
Museum. Ihope to go to Jim Rippe's Thursday night.
If you're not leaving before the weekend then maybe we can get
together Friday because I want to fill you in a little more. I've
had some further conversations.
K:
Yeh, I'd like to talk to you. Actually it's a good time.
S:
And if you're not going, but if for example you're leaving Thursday
afternoon, what I could do - I could fly down Wednesday - we're
going to see Pippin and I could take the late plane Wednesday night
and see you at nine o'clock Thursday.
K:
I think I'll probably be able to make it Friday.
