time with it.

Well, that kills them, you know. The ceasefire kills them, the
independent government for South Vietnam kills them and they know
that everything they said would not happen has been achieved.
K:
Exactly.
P:
We got all the conditions that we laid down.
K:
Well, I noticed the Congressmen were just awestruck.
P:
Those guys - oh well, they were a

Yeh, but Mansfield isn't out to be helpful.
P:
None of them are. They don't know what to say. On that briefing thing
I'm trying to get you out of it, I think maybe you ought to do the Senate.
Let me tell you why I think it's a good idea. It will get away from some
of this business. We've got a good face to sell; it's not bad for you
to do it.
K:
But I can kill them anyway.
P:
That's my point.

I'll know more about it then any of them.

That's right. So that's why I deliberately slipped it to Friday because
you're going to have a hard day tomorrow.
