2 K: Did they show that? R: No, I didn't show a picture of you, but he knows you in fact. K: Oh, I see, I see. R: Because he had thought that Dr. Kissinger was you. K: Oh yes. R: I wanted him to see that, but I just think Henry, this is so tremendous. Everything you've gone through and all the punishment you've taken has been worth it. K: It almost had to take this form; it was just too complex an issue and if we had done it in the first attempt people just weren't ready for it yet. R: No, I think it's extraordinary the way you're saying it but it's exactly what's happened. It's come out just when the country was ready, it was prepared and to go through this and I just think the President has handled it it fantastically in explaining that he didn't want to talk in the last few weeks. K: So that took care of that problem. R: Yeh. Well it's just tremendous Henry. And I tried to reach - you know I called up and said I'd like to talk to him or to you - you know I didn't want to talk to both of you. So when you see him tell him how thrilled I am and proud of what he's done. K: Absolutely. And I hope to see you very soon. It was so good to see you last week. R: Well, I just loved it. Listen, did Wayne get to that ball? K: No. R: He did not make it. K: No, he did not make it but I sat with his son and daughter-in-law. R: You're kidding. Aren't you great. K: Well, I have great affection for the right thing.
