He has been terrific.
H:
I can see some of the work we did on Laos with his hand on it
because he got some of the things we tried and failed to get in
the Laos Agreement and then from the experience he had I'm
sure he did a lot of that, didn't he?
K:
I told Bill that he suffered through the early part of this Administration
for being a Harriman man and now when you guys come back in '76
he'll suffer for being a Kissinger man.
H:
That's right. Good. Well, he's a fine fellow.
K:
He's outstanding.
H:
Well, I hope to see you. I wish you really tremendous congratulations
on your success. It was a fantastic achievement.
