I must say you really rush to return my calls.
RZ:
I didn't realize you called.
HK:
Now the Soviets are going o--the Chinese are going to announce their
ambassador and deputy tomorrow.
RZ:
Good.
HK:
At 9:00 our time. I'd like you to say it at 11:00--that we of course had
advance information of this--that Dr. Kissinger knows the Ambassador
personally -- and that all of us know the deputy--you can say that
and we think it is a very serious token by them
RZ:
Should I say all of us have know the deputy since the late 1950's--the
mid- - 1950's
HK:
And say that this --the President considers this a token of their seriousness
in improving --normalizing relations and we look forward to greeting them
here. Okay.

50's - - I was just kidding of course.
