Terry Sanford/Mr. Kissinger
K:
Hello.
S:
Terry Sanford, how are you. I first want to add one small voice
of great congratulations for a job that you've exteemely done well.
K:
Aren't you nice.
S:
I think today is a great day in history.
K:
Well, I'm very pleased, you are very nice to say that.

that always requires an effort of time.
S:

to say that I think almost anything you said in a period that wouldn't
have to be really more than 15 or 20 minutes.
K:
Well let me think about it for a couple of days and I'll call you next
week. By the middle of the week. I'm very honored.
S:
Sunday May 13.
K:
I'm very honored and I tell you as a matter of principle I've turned
down most -all honorary degrees this year. The mere fact that
I'm considering it should show you my--
