Sisco: And then Ken Rush and I are going to be going out to a Chief of
Mission meeting and he will be there SO that whatever guidance you
have, why we'll just go ahead and
HAK: I'll discuss it with Ken. That's the best way to handle it.
Sisco: Well, I'd obviously like to discuss it with you as well. I think maybe
the three of us might sit down.
HAK: Good. But on the face what was reported to him was so absurd - I mean
why would there be a third meeting if this is what I told them.

Sisco: Do you know
that he talked to?
HAK: No.
Sisco: Well, he is the head of their intelligence arm. And I didn't know
what to make of it quite frankly.
HAK: Well, I'll discuss it with you next week.
Sisco: Well, I'd like to see you in any event as to where we go from here.
HAK: If you could keep things calm in the meantime.
Sisco: You mean in the area.
HAK: Well, in the area and in your building because you can rest assured
that nothing I do is done without Presidential approval.
Sisco: I've assumed that all the way along for four, years.
HAK: It wasn't always clear to everyone else. Are you free for breakfase on
monday?
Sisco; Absolutely.
HAK: Why don't you come by around 8:30. Just between you and me.
Sisco; All right, let's leave it at that. 8:30.
HAK: Can we do that?
Sisco: We certainly can - we've done it twice in the last month.
