Well, I don't know the factual situation, and I can't really go into them
on the phone. You know, I just don't know to what extent this was
contingeous. I know that the French have been trying to get us to agree
to something which we are in the process of working out.
M:
Yes, and from the standpoint ;of our government, I'm sure that our
government doesn't wish to show favoritism towards General Electric
over Pratt and Whitney. And the G-E contract was entered into about
ayear ago, so we are just txying playing a game of touch-up Henry.
K:
Well I just don't know enough about it to touch.

All right, now, should I try and talk with Dave Elliot.
K:
Sure.

How could I reach him Henry.

Through the White House.
