How was the party ?
K:
It was a really very touching party.
D:
Jan and I were both disappointed not to be there. Also disappointed
we had hoped that maybe, you know, just to relax after all the work'
you've been doing, you might have liked to come out this weekend.
K:
I would have love to, but I just came back from Iceland last night
and to get on another plane
D:
Was a little too much.
K:
Was too much.
D:
Well, how do you feel.
K:
I feel fine.
D:
Because we've been certainly thinking a lot about you, you've been
bouncing around so damn much.
K:
It's been a rough period.
D:
It's really
K:
And you know, so many things happen now that you cant' anymore
keep separate what was legal and what was Watergate.
D:
Exactly. One thing just overlaps into the other. You know, it must
be such an added burden to do a difficult job at best and then to have
this added burden.
K:
Well, it's been a difficult period, but I think we've turned the corner now.
D:
I hope so cause I've really thought about you with all your trips back
and forth, and I was terribly disappointed, I really would have come
but I really had a personal jam that I
K:
Oh, look, I understood.
D:
But it disappoints XNK me that you didn't get my letter, cause I wrote
that way in advance and I told you everything that was happening.
