K:
Exactly.
W:
So I think that this is the solution and I think that we're out of the woods.
K:
Terrific and do you think I can have word by 8 o'clock Paris time.
W:
I expect that you can have word by 1 o'clock Saigon time which would be
very early in the morning Paris time.
K:
That would be marvelous. Now one other thing - I will have to have
Sullivan get in touch with you so that the ceasefire order be worked
out at the proper moment.
W:
That's right. I'm confident that once - we can't arrange that until
we've got this other thing tacked down, but that can be arranged very,
very quickly after that.
K:
Charlie, you're terrific! And you will get that letter within 2 hours.
W:
That's perfect and I'm going to let him sleep and get it to him at
daylight tomorrow morning and they'll have some kind of a clambake
in the morning for a couple of hours. I'll put into it that we need a
reply by 2 o'clock in the afternoon here so as to get it to Paris first
thing in the morning.
K:
Yeh, well make it as early as you dare. If you say 2, you'll get it by
W:
I think we ought to just shoot for daylight in Paris and early afternoon here.
K:
Exactly. Thank you, Charlie.
W:
Not a bit, Henry, I really think this is going to be OK.
K:
Good. Marvelous. Excellent.
W:
I'll concern this in writing to you in the course of the night.
K:
Good and you'll get my letter, as I said, within the next few hours.
W:
That's wonderful.
K:
Good. Thank you.
W:
Good, Henry, thank you every so much.
