I appreciate that\nI'm personally very happy\nabout the outcome of the thing and I think\nwell it isn't a terribly\npleasant experience to go through, I think it was better to have it all\nout than\nK:\nI wanted to tell you. I was actually grateful (a) that it was all brought\nout and also that you took me through each case.\nC:\nWell, that was the only way I thought the people on the outside could\nbe stopped mouth shouting about that.\nK:\nI thought it was helpful and you did it in a very human way\nC:\nWell you're very good sir and I appreciate that.\nK:\nI talked to Muskie this morning and I proposed to him that perhaps\nhe and you, as soon as I get back from the U.N. might agree to meet\nwith me on a very informal basis and let me put before the issues as\ni see them and SALT because we're going to come up against a very\nrough domestic debate here.\nC:\nI'd like to do that very much. We had lunch with Alexis and Nitzer.\nlast week and I would like very much to have it for you obviously they\nK:\nWhat I would like to do, you know they have given you our formal\nposition but I would like to talk to you in that a way that won't become\npublic what some of the, what the formal position is sometimes a\nshorthand for. Particularly since I believe that is the way we'll wind\nup so that you'll have some sense where we're going.\nC:\nI'd appreicate that and like it very much Henry.
