G: How are ;you?
K: OK
G: I hate to bother you with this . When the Shah of Iran was here,
he asked Peggy and me if we would come over. We are looking at
December 1, but in view of the situation.

K: You mean in the Middle east, it will be all over before then unless
we screw it up in the next few days.
G: I am sure glad to hear that. Are we working with the Soviets?
No, you don't have to answer over the phone.
K: We are working with the Soviets and also with the Egyptians
It's a tough situation and could blow up.
G: Then it's alright for us to go over.
K: You will have a tremendous reception.
G: For a boy who is half Jewish that's not too bad.
K: Yeah.
G: Everything else alright with you.
K: OK. I would like to meet in the next week with some of my conservative
friends and tell them
I think they have some problems.
G: Ihadn't heard a thing.
K: I want ;you to know the State Department is not a hostile party.
G: Iknow that. I am going to be here tomorrow but will leave..
K: When will you come back.
G: I will be here . and in Novem ber.
K: In November?
G: I have alot of speaking engagements the early part of November.
