K: If you and the Primer Minister could act like the President

D: Your'e right. That's what the Prime Minister has said on several
occasions.
K: By the time you have the cabinet, each of which is knifing each other
D: That's correct. Everybody having discourse and adding their
suggestions. Absolutely right. One of the ills of the parliamentary system.
And I don't think the British are any better.
K: English are putting out we have over reacted too. That's extremely
dangerous.
D: Did you see the editorial in the Post, very good. In support of the
President, in support of your press conference, for the Washington Post
that's something. I am happy to see some result.

provided Americans agreed to withdraw non participation of permanent
