K: I had some disputes with the Egyptians this morning. Where did
the transport planes land in Israel. Do you have the exact list of
airports?
C: Two standbys and only one which is the main textx Tel Aviv airport.
I will have to check this. It is my understanding that none of those
planes landed anywhere except the main Tel Aviv airport.
K: Did any land in the Sinai
C: They did not. That was a report that cameouout of a damn newspaper
I think and I think the source of it was in Cairo.
K: Did any of our Phantoms land anywhere else.
C: No sir.
K: They said Elarange (sp?)
C: I will have to double check.
K: Please let me know.
C: There is one plane that I know of that did not land where it was
supposed to.
K: Where did the Phantoms land?
C: The main airport at Tel Aviv. One airplane had a wheel recovery
problem and it landed in Turkey on an emergency basis.
K: That is not in the Sinai peninsula.
C: That is right. I will double check. If what I am telling you is
wrong I will be back in touch with you.
K: Call me back any way.
C: I will do it.
