K: Anatoyl, I have just received a message from our Ambassador in
Cairo.
D: What message?
K: I am trying to tell you. Apparently, Virgridov is instructed to
deliver the letter to Sadat or someone Sadat designates.
D: Yes.
K: But Sadat is not there and our man thinks and Virgridov agress that
they should delay submitting the letter til after Sadat returns.
D: They know what was said in our instructions to go Sadat or someone
who is there.
then we have to change all other embassies.
K:
Both of our Ambassadors seem to agree that noone is in Cairo to
deliver the letter to.
D: In Jordan theyhave to change
SO in Egypt. 2 days later. Do you
think it is right ?
K: I would wait everywhere til Thursday or Friday.
D:
I will tell. .
K: It makes no difference to me.
D: If they agree, both of them in Cairo let them do what is most
fitting. Only question is Egypt later than the others, but if we can't
reach anyone then alright with me
have the Ambassadors postpone, yes.
K: That is my impression.
D: Maybe we do this way. Let them do it with our Ambassadors. OK
K: How about the other plan.
D: They will go through.
K: Tomorrow.
D:
. we send instructions. on 2 places. . do everything together with you
Ambassador and in Syria alone.
