K: Nelson, how are you?
R: Just calling to send you wavelengths of support. I don't
want to bother you but I want you to know that your friends are
with you.
K: You can't bother me. Aren't you nice.
R: I just want you to know if you want to get away, you could
come up here Saturday for dinner, we're going to get away to
the country.
K: I can't to it Saturday night. Are you going to be around on
Sunday, I am going to come up.
R: Sure. We've been thinking of you. It seems someboy is
always inventing problems and they end up landing on your desk.
The Israelis and Arabs are really

K: We are beginning, they are beginning to crack, though.
R: That's terrific. You've got to be a genious.
K: We are getting to them. If we can keep our guys from panicking
And taking counter-measures. You know old Faisal may overestimate
the efficiency of our intelligence. He may think we can really overthrow
him.
R: Oh, youre great Henry.
K: It's a risky proposition to test, though.
R: I can't tell how much of this is being dreamed up, spitballs,
in the Kremlin.
K: I don't think they are encouraging it, they may not be discouraging it, but
When they're backed against the wall there's not a hell of a lot they
can do to us. I'm just waiting til the peace conference is set up, then
we'll be able to give them a run for their money. They're not as con-
fident as they sound.
