TELCON Strausz-Hupe/HAK 3/18/74 - 10:10 .m. K: Hello. How are you? SH: How are you Henry? I have now gotten Eleanor to agree that we can go to Stockholm. K: Oh marvelous. SH: Stockholm is possible. She is prepared to follow me there. K: Terrific. SH: I hope that will expand. I therefore accept your assignment. K: Many thanks. SZH: I do SO principally because I wish to serve you and the President. K: I know that and I know you are a dedicated man and we will proceed and I will also keep in mind the other matter that you and I discussed. SH: That of course has weighed very heavily on my decision because I do hope and it is tentative of my hope Henry, to serve on in a mission. Especially the one we discussed. Of course it has weighed very heavily on my decision and I hope that I would not serve in the next assignment too long. It's what I hope and that in the not too far future it is possible for me to assume this other mission. Or at least one of them. Furthermore, I ask you to consider the following. Since I wish Eleanor to procede from here by the most comfortable and shortest means possible, I would like her to remain/the Brussels residence until after I've taken charge in Stockholm. Do you think that is possible Henry? K: Let me see what I can do. SH: I would appreciate it because I think it would be a great hardship. If that could possibly be arranged, I would be very grateful. K: Right. And I will let you know about that. SH: Well Henry, I hope that this is agreeable to you. K: I am delighted and it is a patriotic decision as is in character with you. SH: I thank you very much Henry. I deeply appreciate what you just said. K: And we'll stay in close touch. SH: Many thanks. K: Bye Robert.
