K: Brent, would you get a message to the President's plane to tell him I
thought his performance was absolutely spectacular.
S: Yes.
K: I really think he was good.
S: I think he was good too. Is he in the air now ?
K: Yes. He was a little rough on the Europeans then I would have liked him
to be.
S: Well, that's alright.
K: But I tell you, we're winning. Have you seen the cables?
S: No, I haven't.
K: The Germans have now proposed to setting up a consultative group.
S: That follows Scheel's comments, never again would we go without
consulting. That's good.
K: I tell you before the Europeans tackle us again they're going to think
three times.

S: Your Congressional wives speech is going to turn into a great COO.

K: And they're all going to run to Jobert now and tell him, now shut up.
S: That's right.
K: You've now got the Americans so inflamed.
S: That's right. No question about it. I think it's just great. I think it's
alright for the President to be a little tougher than you.
K: It's good for me, I don't know whether it's good - no but any sign of
strength is good.
S: I agree, I certainly agree. I'll get word to him right away.
K: Yes, good. Thank you.
S: Right.
