K: What is it, I am going there now.
S: It is on the military procurement authorization bill, it is an
amendment that Jackson put on giving the Defense Department
a veto over export licensing.
K:
S: Mansfield is going to want your help. He posed it yesterday.
K:
Don't you think it is outrageous.
S: It is outrageous.
What he is probably going to ask for is a letter from you expressing
your views.
K: I will be glad to do it. OkayX
S: Okay.
K: You know, I will be willing to listen to their views, but they have no
right to veto. They are X not a separate government.
