K: I had not seen the memo on various options on negotiations with E. Germany.
On Balance I think we should go to Option B and if that does not work then
we have gone one more round. That will delay things.
H: That would delay and we would have to resume in Berlin.
K: Three weeks.
H: Would make it much more difficult with the Coopers.
K: I don't give a damn about the Coopers. That three weeks could make a
difference.
H: I think we can get what we can get even after three weeks now and perhaps
something in terms of their standing still for the kind of statement we
are going to issue unilaterally.
K: I would like to avoid -- the President is calling me.
