tonight, only the principle of it -- he said he would have to consult
his colleagues and I just sent Sisco in there to talk to him.

pressure on

to accept it.

We were wondering we had so many interruptions in our phone call
whether he was being pulled back by other people in the room.

Pulled back by other people in the room. Because our phone call was
interrupted three times. I think he is under pretty considerable pres-
sure. But ah I think I have come to the conclusion before you rang
me that if the Greeks wouldn't accept this we have got to put more
heat on to Ecevit. It depends upon how you assess the Greek position.
Do you think the Greeks will come on? Let me read to you something
