It permits us to disengage and it permits a neutralist, but not anit-North Vietnamese/ Cambodia to develop on the model of Laos. And its a question then really of how much people want to push us. D: I understand. K: And if we get pushed too much we'll find some way of-- D: I know, you don't like to be pushed. K: And we have never been without resources. D: There are some possibilities. K: That's right. D: Okay, Henry. K: Okay. This is our basic proposal and if Brezhnev and we really think that it shouldn't be contrary to anybody else's basic interest. We recognize the political realities. D: Yes. What difficult to find transitional arrangement. K: That's right. The ceasefire for example could be for, say 90 days. D: Is it must? K: Yeah, that is really quite important. We attache significance to it as your foreign minister would say.
