The reason he's doing it goes\nfar beyond SST.'\nK : Right.\nP : 'It goes to the fact that this whole clack will taste\nblood and they'll eat us alive. Just mention the Council for\nthe Livable World. Everbody that was against Buckley in his\ncampaign are against SST. I know that he's probably got a bunch\nof young people on his staff. The usual things, you know, we're\nsaying 'Oh gee, prove that you're independent, prove that you're\nfor the environment. You see that's what happening to these\npeople Henry. I just know it's their staffers. Would you not\nagree.\nK : I agree completely. And SST to them is really a way\nd'd saying that unless you spend money on these improve the ghetto\nprograms you have no right to do it at all.\nP : Now the point is that we need it from a number of\nassemblages (?). You noticed\nI don't know whether\nit\nwasn't in your memorandum, or something but.\nDid you\nNAXXEE know that the Russians now are already\nthey've\nalready got a contract to sell some to the Japanese and they're\npushing the Indians and all the rest. We have to realize that\nthe Russians will be in it, the British will be in it, every-\nbody else will be in it and we're just gonng to be left holding\nthe hind tip.\nK: That's right, which incidentally answers the argument\nabout climate and even about skin cancer because somebody's\ngoing to fly these damn things.\nP: Yeah, of course, of course. And, the\nthe climate\nand skin cancer thing is just so rédiculously sickening that I\njust\nyou know, I can't believe. And yet people are that\nway. It's like ******* their horror about fallout.
