Many of them -- all of them repeat what we've\nalready told you.\nM:\nYeah, okay.\nK:\nIs my understanding correct that it is Abe now who is going to\ngive the backgrounder.\nM:\nAbe -- yeah, it is my understanding he will. And I am going to\ntalk at 11 o'clock again so I can give any kind of instructions.\nK:\nAll right. Well, the President would prefer if Abe could do it -\nif Abe did it but it should be on a background basis.\nM:\nYeah, we've already got that set up.\nK:\nOkay. And to give the big picture. Now the thing that concerns\nthe President very much right now are all these stories of panic.\nM:\nWell, I've been over that with him and pointed up the morale aspects\nand to treat that on an overall basis.\nK:\nRight. Now our television tonight -- I don't watch the goddamn\nstuff but apparently television gave a horror story tonight.\nM:\nWell, I heard one program at 6:30 which wasn't so bad, I mean I\ndon't know which network\nK:\nI don't know which one he saw.\nM:\nWell, I've covered that and I'll emphasize it.\nK:\nAlso we want to make absolutely sure that everybody understands\nthat this other business on protective reaction.\nM:\nYeah, I've done that too. Right, and we've got plenty of recent\nexamples to make the case.\nK:\nRight.\nM:\nAnd I've pointed those out and that's what he will do.\nK:\nAll right. Now, do you think Defense understands it too."
