general American population.
So I came away from the meeting with Mrs. Meir with renewed
inspiration and determination. I took pride in the obviously
sincere appreciation that the leaders of Israel have for B'nai
B'rith contributions. And I was more determined than ever that
we would not be lulled by the natural feeling of euphoria
generated by Mrs. Meir's visit. There is a great deal of hard
work and community follow-up ahead to maintain the good-will
and political support Mrs. Meir's visit engendered. And I know
that you will join me in seeing that that work is done.
