TWO PRESIDENT'S SCENARIO FOR FLEMMING AWARD WINNERS CON'T ATTENDEES CON'T: SCIENTIFIC WINNERS CONTINUED: Dr. Richard E. Hallgren. Commerce James J, Kramer NASA Edward H. Stone II Agriculture The above are the ten outstanding young men in the Federal Government for 1968 as selected by the awards panel from nominations submitted by Departments and Agencies of the Executive Branch. The program is sponsored by the Junior Chamber of Commerce of Washington, D. C. and is supported by the U. S. Civil Service Commission. The program is named after Dr. Arthur S. Flemming, the first Secretary of HEW, who is the father of your Special Assistant Harry Flemming. Secretary Finch is the principal speaker at the Awards Luncheon which precedes your meeting with the group. NOTE: There will be limited photo coverage of your shaking hands with each individual winner as he enters your office. NO formal remarks have been prepared.
