APPENDIX "B"
THE WHITE HOUSE
THURSDAY, MARCH 20, 1969
PRESIDENT'S SCENARIO:
At 11:30 a.m. you will be escorted from your office to the
Roosevelt Room where you will be met by the Attorney General,
John Mitchell, and the Honorable Donald Jackson. A single stand-
up microphone will be provided for brief welcoming remarks.
The Attorney General will then administer the oath of
office to:
The Honorable Donald L. Jackson as
Interstate Commerce Commissioner.
You will make brief concluding remarks and then be escorted
back to your office. It is estimated that your participation will be of
approximately 10 minutes duration.
There will be forty invited guests.
NOTE:
There will be press coverage of the event.
No formal remarks have been prepared.
