STATE DINNER FOR D APPENDIX "B" THE RIGHT HONORABLE PIERRE ELLIOTT TRUDEAU, P. C. PRIME MINISTER OF CANADA THE WHITE HOUSE MONDAY, MARCH 24, 1969 PRESIDENT'S Schedule: At 8:10 p.m. you and The First Lady will be escorted from the Family Quarters of the Residence to the North Portico entrance. The Right Honorable Pierre Elliott Trudeau, P. C., Prime Minister of Canada, will arrive by car accompanied by Ambassador and Mrs. Mosbacher. NOTE: There will be photo coverage of your greeting Prime Minister Trudeau. You and your guests will then be escorted to the Yellow Oval Room for the exchange of gifts. Vice President and Mrs. Agnew, Secretary of State and Mrs. Rogers and Under Secretary of State Elliot- Le. Richardson will be present. (all those who will be present are under lined on attached guest list). The dress is white tie. Amb. At approximately 8:28 p. m. everyone, with the exception of Moss backer yourself, Mrs. Nixon and the Prime Minister will be escorted down- stairs. The Color Guard will then enter the Yellow Oval Room and request permission to remove the colors. Preceded by the Color Guard, you will descend the staircase at approximately 8:30. Mrs. Nixon will be to your left with Prime Minister Trudeau to your right. At the foot of the staircase the Color Guard will halt and move to either side. You will pause here for official photographs. ( Amb. Mossbacher will follow out of sight of photograp hers ) Mrs. Nixon The President P.M. Trudeau
