Dear Howard:
It was good to hear from you, and I want you
to know how much I appreciate the friendship
which prompted you to write as you did on
March 29. The snapshote you enclosed
brought back many happy memories of those
early days at Fullerton Union High School --
quite a few things have changed in the inter-
vening years, including my curly hair!
As you can imagine, I have received similar
photos and mementos over the years, and one
of these days I hope to put them all Into an
album. In any event, I just want to tell you
of my gratitude for your kindess in writing
and letting me relive a few moments of my
boyhood through these pictures.
