Dear Madame Chiang:
We want you to know how
much we appreciate the good wishes
which you and the President sent to
us in your letter which was delivered
while we were in New York over the last
weekend.
Mrs. Nixon is deeply grateful
for the beautiful "good luck" pin which
you enclosed for her. You may be sure
she will wear it with pride throughout
the campaign and after the election as
well.
With kindest regards,
Sincerely,
Madame Chiang Kai-Shek
