July 2 H Mo THE MADISON WASHINGTON, D.C. 20005 March Twentieth Nineteen Sixtynine My dear Mr. President: I thought you might like to see the enclosed photos of the architects rendering of the main house and guest houses on Grand Cay. We are now about 65% complete on building construction, road paving, bridges and all other facilities with completion date set at May 10th. The panorama from the balcony of the master bed- room (upper left on house) is something not to be believed. Regards, Bob Robert H. Abplanalp THE WHITE HOUSE WASHINGTON March 19, 1969 MEMORANDUM FOR THE PRESIDENT FROM: Paul W. Keyes I want you to know how deeply I appreciate the gathering in the Roosevelt Room yesterday on my birthday. Despite all my bravado, I get a chill everytime I walk into the White House - and the fact that you and those close to you would even consider honoring me as you did yesterday gave me the greatest moment of my life. I thank you - as my friend and as my President. RESPECTFULLY, Pane 20Bmit March 29, 1969 TO: SUBJECT: JOHN EDWARD RN Personal D. EHRLICHMAN L. Matters MORGAN FROM: Jack Naylor of Mudge, Rose, Guthrie & Alexander advises that he is inventorying the President's property in his old New York law office. He has already sent the inventory of the books to Dwight Chapin. CC: Bud Krogh Dwight Chapin Rose Mary Woods Marje -- here is a supplement to the list of files I sent you from New York Helen Moroz is keeping an eye on the files until we let them know what to do with them. Also, note her question Anne H. 24th Floor 20 Broad Street NYC 10005 March 26, 1969 MEMORANDUM TO MRS. HIGGINS FROM HELEN MOROZ RN's office at 20 Broad Please correct your copy of inventory to show File IV held 2 drawers of 1966 correspondence and 1 drawer of RN's speaking engagements for January to May, 1966. 4th drawer held RN's social club year books and copies of Gallup Reports. [It was listed as 4 drawers of correspondence] QUESTIONS: Would RN like to have photos of his mother and dad? Should an inventory be taken of entire room? Mr. Tannian said he only handled file material at warehouse when Loie Gaunt was here and nothing was inventoried in RN's room. Presumably Mr. Naylor or Mr. Ritzel should be in charge of this. RSVP if I can do anything for you in this connection. hm HARVEY HANCOCK P.O. BOX 2851 CARMEL, CALIFORNIA 93921 17 March 1969 Dear Rose: Please advise the President we are arranging to have Attorney General John N. Mitchell issued an invitation by the Board of Directors of the Bohemian Club to attend this summer's Grove Encampment, July 11 to 27. It would be also a privilege for us 3/24 to have him as our guest at the Owl's Nest camp. Since I am not acquainted with Mr. Mitchell will you be kind enough to alert Foll him when I write of my identity and assoc- iation with the Club. Bob Finchalready has been invited to the Grove and the annual Owl's Nest breakfast. Surnisa about this I assume the President is getting m.a. pressures from many well-meaning Bohemians urging him to attend this summer. Personally there is nothing I could desire more, but there are two or three compelling reasons why I think it would be inappropriate. I do not wish to disclose them in writing, but I could give them to you in capsule form in a few minutes on the telephone. Warmest Personal Regards and Happy St. Patrick's Day. Faithfully, Hamey P.S. We enjoyed your Vatican TV appearance, but certainly felt for you when you returned to find your apartment ransacked.
