Dear Cave Men:
For your information and file you will find attached the
1970 list of our Cave Man Camp members, together with their latest
addresses and telephone numbers as we have them. If there are any
changes, could you let me know.
Also, I would like to advise that I have appointed Bob Swain,
Chairman of a newly established, long overdue and greatly needed Com-
mittee, the Cave Man Membership Committee. His fellow Committee
Members are George Johnson and Larry Kimpton. The functions of the
Committee are twofold: those of a conventional membership committee,
to pass on prospective candidates for inclusion in the Camp, as suggested
by our present members, but more importantly to find us some congenial
new members for Cave Man. Therefor, if you have any suggestions for
new members, would you please get in touch with the Committee.
Sincerely,
Allan Hoover

glad to hear of them, and they would be
taken care of in the proper Cave Man

ask Bot tor
Gracious Father - we enter into thy presence today with
plenty of needs. We are aware that many of these needs
are the result of our neglect of Thee, our failure to main-
tain a close harmony with Thy will revealed in Scripture.
Please, once again forgive us as we make confession of our
sins.
Father, check our motives for being here this Easter
morning. Humble each of us wherein our pride makes us
want to be seen by others. Calm our curiosity which
tempts us to come to see others. Instead help us to put
all distractions out of our minds to truly worship Thee in
spirit and in truth. May we not make blasphemy of Thy
name by pretending to worship when our thoughts and hearts
are far from Thee.-
We ask that Thou wilt meet the personal needs of every
single person here. Give us enough cares and hurts in life
to keep us humble, realizing our total dependence upon
Thee. And give us enough joys and blessings in life to
sense the certainty of Thy divine love and care.
Thou hast instructed us to pray for our leaders - all
those in positions of public trust. We pray particularly
for the President of the United States. Fortify him to
walk forward doing what he knows is your will -- even in
the face of criticism. Give him patience, wherein right
action does not produce immediate results. Well up within
him constant compassion for human need -- wherever it may
be. Provide that flexibility that is needed to change
whatever course once seemed right but now has proven to be
wrong. Anoint him with the wisdom you gave to Solomon of
old - to discern the ethical black from white and to dis-
tinguish those subtle shades of grey when no perfect way
is to be found. And finally, Father, equip him spiritu-
ally for his tasks which are often superhuman tasks --
giving him a strength that is a superhuman strength which
comes to all those who put their trust in Thee.
Hear our prayer which we pray in the name of our
Savior Jesus Christ.

Dear Rose Mary:
I know no list was made public following
the party and I will be glad to so advise Elmer Bobst
if you like. Considering the pleasure it would give
him and that it would not get to the press through
Elmer - - and likely be no interest to them now anyway--
you may feel you can have someone send a copy.
Cordially,

Dear Elmer:
In talking with Bob Gray today he mentioned that you
would like to have a list of the people who attended
your 85th Birthday Dinner at the White House. I am
enclosing a copy of the list showing the reasons for
the very few regrets received.
I hope you and Dodo are having a relaxing and/or fun
time in Florida and look forward to seeing you when
you return North.
With my fondest personal regards to you both,
Sincerely,
Rose Mary Woods
