The setting\nwas the Main Dining Room, the time was long past the\ndinner hour, and you were eating alone near the entrance\nto the Dining Room on the right side. My camp mates\nand I had just finished our dinner. As we were leaving\nthe dining room we noticed that you were alone. As\nyou know in the true Bohemian spirit, we never allow a\nfellow Bohemian to either eat or drink alone. So\nwe\nshared with you our bottle of wine which, incidentally,\nwas a California wine. We then regaled you with song\nwith strong emphasis on \"Bohemia's Home Is Here\". We\ndid manage to cheer you up a little, we then left you\nto finish your dinner and our bottle of wine. I might\nadd that we met another time when we were introduced\nby George Murphy at Lost Angels Camp.\nAll of this long introduction is merely to assure you\nthat what I am about to propose will be done in the\nspirit of Bohemia and not with the intent of a \"weaving\nspider\".\nI recently read an article by Mr. Philip Hiering in\nthe Log of the Military Wine Taster. The article is\nentitled \"The White House Has No Wine Cellar\". I\nfound it very difficult to accept that statement, hence\nthis letter.\nMay I take just one moment of your very busy schedule\nto tell you about a new product by the Viking Sauna\nCompany, with whom you are well acquainted. So Dr. Arena\ncan be very helpful if he wishes. I don't know fromthis distance\nhow helpful he intends to be, but I do know that a letter from you\nto him ought to snap him up no end.\nOn to Columbus tomorrow, and then down south to Nixon\ncountry, Ohio. But I know it is sometimes possible to have some people\nrelease their histories (with the specific permissmion). I do hope\nto have your help in this, and in finding and using the papers saved\nby the President's mother.\nAsyou can see, I am tracing the family history on\nthis trip, and have made some interesting findings to date.
