weeks in beautiful Hawaii for some rest.
I have seen the estate which you mentioned
in your letter but do not know of anyone at
this time who is interested in acquiring any
property in Hawaii, tempting as the thought
might be.

By way of introduction, Gail Patrick Jackson has
spoken of you many times and I told her I was going to
write to you and give you the following information.
On March 23, I received an exclusive listing to sell
a waterfront estate in Honolulu consisting of 93,714
square feet. My client does not wish publicity on this
proposed sale (magazines, newspapers, etc.), which is why
I must write individual letters. However, as these things
can happen, it is fairly common knowledge. I still do not
want to mention the name of my client, but knowing you
would be very discreet about it, it is the estate where
President and Mrs. Nixon were entertained last year when
he was here to meet with Mr. Tanaka of Japan.
I am taking the liberty of enclosing some information
on this one-of-a-kind Kahala property. There is a strong
possibility that when this property is sold, the cook
(allegedly the best one in Hawaii), gardeners and chauffeur
(maintenance man) would remain.
I have also written to Mr. Rebozo suggesting he "clue"
the President in on this opportunity, but am not sure whether
he will receive it or not - didn't have his exact address.
So, if you think the President would be interested in this
property, perhaps you could brief him on it. The only other
person I have written to in Washington regarding this prop-
erty is our Senator Fong.
We will be picking up Gail on Tuesday, April 10 at
the airport. She will spend about two weeks here for a
much needed rest.
Anything you are able to do would be appreciated and
also would be glad to hear from you if you have any ideas.
