Re: Assignment of Your Interest
Payne and Albright Leaseholds
Hawley Field
Grant County, Oklahoma
Dear Mr. Nixon:
As requested by Mr. Martin Feinstein, we have prepared assignments of
your interest in the Payne leasehold and in the Albright leasehold to your
daughter, Miss Patricia Nixon. In preparing these assignments, we have included
only the name "Patricia" because we did not know her middle name or middle
initial. If you wish, you may add her middle and last name to this assignment
so that they would be more properly completed.
Please execute both copies of these assignments in the space marked with
a red X and have your signature notarized. You may return these executed assign-
ments to us, and we will, in turn, forward them to the pipeline so that they
might prepare transfer orders so that we might return them to you.
Should you have any questions concerning these assignments, please feel
free to call on us. At Mr. Feinstein's instruction, we are mailing these assign-
ments to his office to facilitate handling.
Congratulations on your primary victories and the best of luck in the
coming convention.
Yours very truly,

Gentlemen:
Enclosed is a profitability analysis for your leaseholds in
the West Hawley Field, Grant County, Oklahoma. The enclosed summary re-
veals a net income of $2,033.35 for the month of May.
During the month, bottom hole pressure surveys were run on the
Payne No. 1 and the Albright No. 1. As mentioned in last month's report,
Joe N. Champlin drilled a well in Section 32 that offsets the Albright
lease to the south. They set pipe and completed the well in the
Mississippi Chat. On June 17, the well tested 90 barrels of oil plus
15 barrels of water.

vice to you.

Dear Dick,
I was shocked to see the low appraisal that
KWB put on your reserves in the Albright Payne
wells. Anyone buying these from you at those
figures would be stealing the wells.
I would like to suggest that you sell these to
your brother, taking a note from him for the
appraisal value. Then you continue to receive
the oil checks monthly until the note is paid
in full. This way at least you' 11 keep it in
the family.
Rhoda and I are looking froward to seeing you
at the dinner on Friday, April 5.

Dear Russ:
Confirming our telephone conversation earlier in the week,
Tulsa Crude Oil Purchasing Company has now been satisfied as to
ownership on the above tract and advised that the runs will be
dispersed around October 15, 1967.
I sincerely apologize for the delay in getting these
payments out. These should have been cleared long ago except for
the complicated title work involved.
