THE MOORES OF BALLYMONEY, IRELAND
The first Moore in County Antrim, Ireland appears to have been James
Moore who migrated from County Cumberland, England before 1625. In 1669
these Moores are listed in Ballymoney: William, Enagh: James and Robert,
MacFinn. If William and Robert were sons of James, a tentative tree can
be worked out.
