This is a train-side platform rally
rather than from rear of train. Downtown
shopping plaza parking let adjacent to train.
As the train comes into town it has to be switched
once and then switched again to put it at the point
where the Vice President will speak. The first
switch would take them only about 200 ft. from
speaking place. Second switch might take as much
as 15 minutes. If behind schedule the party can
disembark at the first switch point, walk the 200 ft.
to speaking point, and let the train complete
switching during the time of the rally.
