Dear Stanley:
Please pardon my delay in sending you the verious copy
used in conjunction with Quincy's Nixon Rolly held at
Baldwin Field on Friday, October 28th., 1960.
Due to the tremendous pressure of the campaign, and not
leaving anything to chance, I have been kept quite busy.
Here 13 the set-up with regard to the news media in our
Gem City of Quincy, Illinois:
One Newspaper: The Quincy Herald-Whig (A Daily)
Two Radio Stations: WTAD 30 WGEM (AM & FM)
Two Television Stations: KHQA-TV, Channel 7.
#GEM-TV, Chennel 10.
Whenever I furnished copy to the Herald-Whig I also sent
similiar copy to each Radio Station and T. V. Station as
well.
In some instances, I did not retain copies of the date
given the Radio and T. V. Stations. However, I PM sure
you "ill recall the conditions under which we were work-
ing, and can understand what I mean.
If there is anything else you require, please let me know,
and I will try to oblige.
Election day is just a couple of days off-- I know that we
are all proud of our candidates and Love riven our best to
the cause. May I close by paying: Ours will be a complete
and mlorious victory for Dick Nixon and Cebot Lodge!
Sincerely,
art
Arthur Francis Stowell
