To head out motorcade, to pace at 25 mph and
lead one quarter mile ahead of head of motor-
cade. Report Air Port at 9 A.M.
2. Four police motorcycle men R.E. Collins,
C.E. Baker, W. H.Tisdel, R. L. Crawford
to break traffic ahead of lead car in motor-
cade.
3. Two police motorcycle men J. E. Mc Veigh

Notes
ASSIGNMENTS FOR PARKING: Place sufficient corner control police and
3-wheel police to handle all traffic and to restrict
all parking as indicated above, placing at least
25 of these officers in and around the crowd.
Assign Sergeant Sergt. Thompson to stay
with and stand by Nixon all during time of his
arrival and departure at Hemming Park.

I could not mail the list of airport greeters you asked
for. It will make quite a difference whether this is at
night or in the daytime. Miss Mitchell and I are devel-
oping two lists, either or type of thing, and will put
one in the mail as soom as we receive your confirmation of
night or daytime. Tomorrow morning I will begin bugging
the state office to tell me exactly how many and which
local candidates are coming.
I can understand that you do not trust people to produce
these things and so try for on the spot anwwers--also
that the sooner you get them the better. But I see no
sense in sending you facts and then changing them.
Give us confirmation on the general plan and I will have
any answer you need. O.K.?
