Thank you for your note regarding the interest on the part
of Ned Cushing in having the Young Republicans be of assis-
tance on the various RN visits.
I will establish and maintain contact with Tom Van Siclen
at National Headquarters and keep him posted on our itinerary
and schedule so that we can have YR cooperation on each of
these trips. I think this is an excellent idea and it should
be of considerable value in promoting enthusiasm and crowds.

Ned Cushing dropped in the other day (the Young
Republican Chairman) and indicated that his organization
would like to be of assistance on the various RN visits
to cities throughout the United States but have not been
able to do so because they have had no notice from anyone
as to his itinerary.
In certain areas these young people can whip up
enthusiasm and I thought you might want to contact
Cushing as RN moves around. His office at the National
Headquarters is manned by Tom Van Siclen. Perhaps
you could keep in touch with him.
