MEMORANDUM
January 10, 1962
To:
Mr. Irving Ferman
From:
Mr. Bob Haldeman
Assemblyman Don Mulford from the Alameda County area
says he has a close friend who is Treasurer of the National
Home Builders, very active in national Jewish organizations,
a Democrat, very close to the White House and a personal
friend of JFK, a millionaire, 43, active in the Jewish under-
ground on civil rights.
He wants to be for Nixon and help on the Jewish and Negro
situations. Is very concerned about the Birch Society.
He will be in Los Angeles January 18-19 with Mulford and
wants to see me, and possibly RN, at that time.
His name is William Blackfield.
