Edmund Burke INTER-OFFICE MEMORANDUM Nixon for Governor To: DOROTHY WRIGHT Date: OCTOBER 10, 1962 From: JENIFER PAUL Subject: WIN PROGRAM Distribution: For your information and interest I am attaching a couple of copies of the list of participating companies in the WIN program. This list is being distributed ONLY to our fieldmen (there are now twelve), just to keep them up to date on the program and one another's activities. I want to stress the NOTE at the bottom of the fifth page. Some of the "follow-up" companies are under- standably dragging their feet as far as company endorsement of the program is concerned. These require special handling and they are being encouraged either to conduct private mailing pro- grams or to turn over employee home-address lists. Therefore, the presence of the company name on this list does not necessarily commit them to the program. We are sending out several thousand pieces of literature a day to various companies at their request. The response is very encouraging, I think.
