to vote for Dick Nixon. With this letter is . fact
sheet telling you what Nixon Proposes to do to
strengthen California; it tells you what Brown has
done to spend your tax money. Please read it

I am sending you the enclosed leaflet because of my strong conviction
that the economic stability of our State will be at stake when we select
our State Governor this fall.
The effect of making a poor decision will, I believe, be felt in the
number of job opportunities we will have, in the size of our personal
taxes, in the kind of education our children will enjoy, and in many
other very personal ways.
Several of us are 20 concerned about this problem that we have decided
to take an active part in Richard Mixom's campaign for Governor. If
you agree that we need to replace Brown's weak and wavering administre-
tion with the real leadership that Richard Nixon can provide, get in
touch with me-there is a place for you in Mixon's campaign. He will
need your help if we are to WIN WITH NIXON.
Sincerely,
C/Max Littlejohn

INTER-OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Nixon for Governor
To:
DOROTHY WRIGHT
Date: OCTOBER 10, 1962
From:
JENIFER PAUL
Subject: WIN PROGRAM
Distribution:
For your information and interest I am attaching a couple of
copies of the list of participating companies in the WIN program.
This list is being distributed ONLY to our fieldmen (there are
now twelve), just to keep them up to date on the program and one
another's activities. I want to stress the NOTE at the bottom of
the fifth page. Some of the "follow-up" companies are under-
standably dragging their feet as far as company endorsement of
the program is concerned. These require special handling and
they are being encouraged either to conduct private mailing pro-
grams or to turn over employee home-address lists. Therefore,
the presence of the company name on this list does not necessarily
commit them to the program.
We are sending out several thousand pieces of literature a day
to various companies at their request. The response is very
encouraging, I think.
