Dear Mr. Parks:
I am delighted to have received your offer of ideas
concerning how to reduce the budget. Your experience
in preparing budgets for several state agencies while
working for the Department of Finance would be
invaluable in identifying for us areas where economies
can be effected.
I would hope that it might be possible for you to write
as converning these matters at your earliest convenience.
If, however, you feel it is necessary to discuss this
matter personally, I would be most happy to arrange a
meeting with you. If you will call Sophie Telfer at
Madison 3-6227, we can try to arrange a mutually convenient
time.
