MEMORANDUM FOR: MR. H. R. HALDEMAN
FROM:
ALEXANDER P. BUTTERFIELD
SUBJECT:
Fina's Niece
I believe that for a while we can forget the subject of "Fina's niece".
Manolo tells me that the young girl is no longer interested in working
for the local security police in that she has heard recently of some
secretarial job opportunities at a large American oil company
headquartered nearby. It is my understanding that Bebe and an
oil executive friend of his are about to leave for Spain (or perhaps
they are already there), and that Bebe will give the girl's desires
his personal attention. I mean, he will give his personal attention
to the girl's desires. No, dammit, what I really mean is that he
will put the project to bed that is to say, he'll lend a hand.
Oh, I give up! It has been a long day and I can't seem to think what
I'm saying. I mean, think what I mean.
