MEMORANDUM FOR MR. H. R. HALDEMAN
FROM:
DWIGHT L. CHAPIN
RE:
Abplanalps and Bebe
You should be aware that Bebe arrives at 3:55 p.m. this coming
Thursday. Does the President wish to have him attend the
Chandler Dinner?
Yes

If No, I can call Bebe and explain.
We are asking Rose to include Bebe and the Abplanalps on the
Diaz Ordas Dinner guest list.

Bebe is suggesting to the Abplanalps since they are going to be out
here for such a long stay that perhaps they would like to take some
side trips either to Ensamado, San Francisco, or perhaps the Grand
Canyon. Bebe is thinking in terms of having them get away from
here so that the President does not always think that he has to
entertain them. I encouraged Bebe to follow up on this.
