Monday, October 04, 2010 Page 1 of 1 July 13, 1971 MEMORANDUM FOR: H.R. HALDEMAN FROM: GIARLES COLSON SUBJECT: Thimmesch Articles When we talked this morning I told you that we were attempting to sell to Thimmesch a series of articles analysing the very adverse impact of the Pentagon Papers on each of the Democratic Presidential candidates. Nick has agreed to do it. We have drafted the articles, they should be very useful for a very bwoad distribution by mail and otherwise. The important thing here is that if people think that the Democrats are being burt by this issue, then in fact the Democrate will be hurt by it. We are working on a number of follow up ideas for keeping this theme alive.
