(It is unique since it is market "White House" but is without a signature. It is, therefore, a collector's item. 1 found, when I returned to my office, that you kept the pen that was handed to me by the President of the United States and gave me an imitation which was, indeed, out of ink and had not been handed to me by the President of the United States. Further, it is marked with the President's signature. The word "borrow", according to Webster's Third New Inter- national Dictionary, means "to receive with the implied or expressed intention of returning the same or an equivalent". While I realise the word "equivalent", in your eyes, might mean that what you gave me was sufficient, may I remind you that it is not and I would appreciate your prompt return to me of the pen that once was mine.
