71 EAST 71ST STREET
NEW YORK 21, N. Y,
January 26, 1970
Mr. H. R. Haldeman, Assistant
to the President
Executive Office of the President
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue
Washington, D. C. 20500
Dear Mr. Haldeman:
Here I come again with a letter for the
President! I assure you that I am not a
natural born letter-writer but he was kind
enough to call me on Christmas night and call
the book "One Man Alone" to my attention.
I had not read it although I had it, and
of course it is of great interest to me,
especially as from the very beginning I felt
convinced of Hiss' guilt and was astounded at
the skill and wisdom with which Mr. Nixon
handled the affair.
With many thanks and warmest regards,
Sincerely,
May Mrs. Preston Davie
