HALDEMAN ADMINIS RATIVE MARKING I.J. 12055, Section 0--02 en FROM: LYN NOFZIGER By EMP_NARS, EMP Date 11-24-80 RE: OPERATION O'BRIEN My sources tell me the Democratic National Chairman's two major accounts a re John King (the John King) and Howard Hughes. In addition, he may have a book contract and is involved in something called Public Affairs Analysts, which purports to offer assistance and know-how to individuals or firms in their dealings with state governments. CONFIDENTIAL P. S. As you know, Ray Bliss retained his Ohio insurance business. John Baily I think also was in insurance and was written up as a slumlord. I think our efforts probably lie in another direction. why
