Friday, July 02, 2010 Page 1 of 1 THE WHITE HOUSE WASHINGTON November 21, 1972 MEMORANDUM TO: H. R. HALDEMAN FROM: PAT BUCHANAN Herewith the piece PJB did on the "Dirtiest campaign in history, 11 as per RN's request. While this can be expanded, methinks it will help greatly to get it into the national bloodstream now -- while the instant history is being written. Harrison Salisbury called me today to say the mail would be too slow -- to send it over the Times wire. So, they may be using it very soon. Will keep up with this. Attached also is Ken Khachigian's first crack at things they wish they hadn't said -- we will be working futher with this material, but wanted to run it by RN. Also, note Lofton's "Things They Wish They Hadn't Said, 11 carried in MONDAY this week. He is continuing the series. PJB has been in touch with Jeffrey Hart and will star t working on the "analysis" of the monograph. Buchanan
